My best friend was crowned prom queen. Her name is Alli, she is one of the funnest, smartest, loving, bravest and determined person I know. What you may not know about Alli is that she is in a wheel chair and has trouble speaking. She has a smile that can light up any room and a laugh that is contagious. She gets mad at me when I swear, laughs at me when Im being silly and comforts me when I am sad. If there were a picture beside the word determined Alli’s would be there. She had back surgery a few months ago that forced her to leave school for a few months. I had asked her before if she wanted to go to prom and she told me no. But after her back was straightened and a little bit of convincing she agreed. Alli was crowned prom queen and given a standing ovation by everyone in the 2012 class. They cheered and clapped and chanted her name. It was the best night of her life. Alli is a fighter she has defied everyone’s expectations and continues to do so. I am proud to call her my best friend.
